2013 MARKS 60 YEARS SINCE SIR EDMUND HILLARY’S ASCENT OF EVEREST.
Leanne Pooley (Director of “Topp Twins:Untouchable Girls”), and Matthew Metcalfe (Producer of “Dean Spanley” and “Love Birds”) are in Production of a 3D Stereoscopic Documentary Feature based on the expedition that drew worldwide attention. Digipost is undertaking all Post on the film – tasks include CGI, restoration and 2D to 3D conversion of stills and archive footage, design and animation, sound design & mixing, 3D Stereo colour timing, and film deliverables.
The film has been selected for the Toronto Film Festival, and is due for release in the latter part of 2013. There is significant International interest in this story about one of the great New Zealanders.Production Company: GFC (Everest) Limited
